UPCOMING DC DIRECTFollowing are upcoming DC Direct products, with information coming from DC Comics. BATMAN VILLAINS AND JOKER/HARLEY QUINN PRINT SET BY ALEX ROSS
Painted by Alex Ross. A new print set by painter Alex Ross, featuring the various denizens of the Dark Knight's Rogues Gallery. Harley Quinn and her amour, the Joker, are gorgeously rendered in a reproduction of the cover to Batman: Harley Quinn. The second print features Batman surrounded by the worst of Arkham Asylum's inmates. These 10" x 13" prints come shrink-wrapped with cardboard and are perfect for framing. Two pieces, $19.95, ships on March 7.

THE SPECTRE HAL JORDAN ACTION FIGURE
Following the debut of the new Spectre series starring Hal Jordan, DC Direct offers this haunting new glow-in-the-dark action figure of Hal transformed by the Spirit of Vengeance, standing 6.5" tall. Featuring multiple points of articulation, the figure also has a cloth cape and hood, with a wire within cape for posing. Packaged in a 4-color blister pack. Price TBA, ships on June 20.
ORION AND DARKSEID DELUXE ACTION FIGURE SET
The mightiest of the New Gods, father and son, now come in a Deluxe Action Figure Set! Orion stands 6 3/8" tall, with multiple points of articulation, and features a removable Astro Harness that clips to his waist, hands and feet - plus removable helmet and alternate (angry-faced) head. STARMAN JACK KNIGHT ACTION FIGURE - VARIANT VERSION
Offered separately for the first time, DC DIRECT offers the variant version of the Starman Jack Knight Action Figure - just as the final exciting storyline to James Robinson's Starman races towards its conclusion. This variant version of Jack Knight sports a goatee, purple pants and a light blue shirt, and also has all the features of the standard version: multiple points of articulation, removable eye goggles and Jack's cosmic rod, which lights up when placed in both of his hands. Price TBA, ships on Feb. 7.
Featuring art by H.G. Peter The latest in DC Direct's line of plastic watches features a Golden Age depiction of the Amazon Princess taken from the cover of Sensation Comics #4 illustrated by H.G. Peter. This watch comes in clamshell-style packaging. $39.95, ships on April 4.
Sculpted by Sam Greenwell The latest addition to Direct's line of snow globes features a cold-cast porcelain Aquaman seated on his throne as the "King of the Sea." This water globe measures 4.25" x 7" and has a detailed sculpted relief featuring creatures from the sea. Each globe is packaged in a 4-color box and comes with a Certificate of Authenticity. $79.95, ships on June 13.

GREEN LANTERN ALAN SCOTT POWER RING PROP
Sculpted by William Paquet. DC Direct offers a uniquely designed prop featuring the Golden Age Green Lantern Alan Scott - a bust that stands 3.25" tall and 3.25" wide and is part of a stand for a replica of his power ring. The "one-size" metal ring is painted metallic green with a glass cabochon stone, and is not intended to be worn. Comes in 4-color box packaging with a Certificate of Authenticity. $89.95, ships on July 11.
VERTIGO TAROT DECK SET - NEW EDITION
Written by Rachel Pollack; painted art by Dave McKean DC Direct offers this redesigned version of the popular classic Vertigo Tarot Deck set. This new packaging is smaller and similar to other tarot sets. Packaged in a 4-color box, the set includes 78 glossy laminated cards featuring Vertigo characters painted by Dave McKean, and a 128-page softcover book about the cards written by tarot expert Rachel Pollack, $29.95, ships on Aug. 8.
MAGUIRE TALKS SPIDER-MAN MOVIE
Tobey Maguire, star of the upcoming Spider-Man live-action movie, talked about the film on E! News Daily on Monday. "I'm really excited. It's a lot of fun. I've been doing some pretty interesting stuff to train for it," Maguire said. "I don't know what to expect, really. I'm just looking forward to doing something very different than anything I've ever done." Maguire was promoting the re-release of Wonder Boys. He will appear on NBC's The Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Tuesday. Spider-Man is expected to go before the cameras in January.
BATMAN BEYOND MOVIE, TV UPDATEThe Batman Beyond movie is in the earliest stages of development, writer Paul Dini told The Continuum. "Boaz, Alan and I are still working on story concepts," Dini said, referring to writer/director Boaz Yakin and writer Alan Burnett. Dini and Burnett are producers of the Batman Beyond animated series.
In other Batman Beyond news, part two of "The Call," the episode featuring Superman and the Justice League Unlimited, airs this Saturday on Kids' WB! at 8 a.m. (ET). Jodi Benson, who does the voice of Aquagirl, also did the voice of Ariel in The Little Mermaid. Warner Bros. Animation has provided The Continuum a new image of Aquagirl and her fellow Justice Leaguers.
X-MEN: EVOLUTION UPDATEKids' WB!, for one Saturday only, will show two episodes of X-Men: Evolution in one morning. Back-to-back episodes are scheduled to air on Nov. 25. Airing at 11 a.m. (ET) will be "Mutant Crush," an episode which introduces Blob, who is smitten with Jean Grey. Following that at 11:30 a.m. will be a rebroadcast of "Strategy X," the first episode of the series. In other X-Men: Evolution news: * Toy Biz's line of action figures based on the show will include figures -Wolverine, Logan and Sabretooth -- with motorcycles.
* This Saturday's episode of the show is "Rogue Recruit," which features Rogue. Look for more on this episode later this week in The Continuum.
FINDING X-MEN DVD EASTER EGGSThe two Easter Eggs hidden features on the upcoming X-Men DVD release are easy to find. For the gag spot with Spider-Man joining X-Men members Storm, Cyclops and Jean Grey inside the Statue of Liberty, do the following: From the opening menu, go to Special Features. Then go to Theatrical Trailers and TV Spots. Then look for a rose-shaped image, to the left of the Trailer A bar. For the designs on Beast and Blob, two characters who ultimately didn't make the film, do the following: From the opening menu, go to Art Gallery. Look for Wolverine's dog tag, numbered 458 2524, on top of the X logo and below the menu bars for Character Design and Production Design. Immediately preceding both bonus features is a lightning bolt flashing across the Statue of Liberty. The X-Men DVD is due in stores next Tuesday. Look for more on X-Men Wednesday in The Continuum.
