SPIDER-GIRL CANCELLED

Writer Tom DeFalco confirmed for The Continuum that Marvel Comics is canceling Spider-Girl, with the last issue scheduled to be #38.

"On the one hand, that's much too soon for Pat Olliffe, Al Williamson and me," he said, referring to his artists. "On the other hand, 38 issues isn't a bad run for a title that no one thought would last a full year."

DeFalco said he has a definite plan to end the series.

"The team and I have some great stuff planned for our final issues," he said. "We intend to go out with style.

"I would just like to thank all the readers who supported this title. We all had a great time, and we still have some fun issues left."
