The world premiere of Spider-Man is the night before Dunst's 20th birthday.

"I'm sure we'll be there late and 12 o'clock will be my birthday. So all my family and friends will be there," she told ET. "So, it will be like a party that we didn't even have to pay for."

Dunst, who is currently promoting The Cat's Meow, is the first actress to appear on the cover of two consecutive issues of Vanity Fair. She was also dubbed by British GQ as "Hollywood's hottest sex symbol."

"Let's not talk about sex," Dunst said. "I hate those. They're always like, 'Sexy girl, ryeh, ryeh, ryeh...' I want it to say, 'Kirsten Dunst, talented girl, talent woman.'"

SMALLVILLE UPDATE

A new episode of Smallville, "Drone," is scheduled to air on The WB on Tuesday, April 30.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"Clark (Tom Welling) sees the election for class president as an opportunity to be a 'normal kid,' but when his running mates are systematically attacked by a swarm of bees, Clark suspects a candidate is eliminating the competition one by one and he is next on the list."

Michael Katleman directed the episode, which was written by Michael Green and Philip Levens.

DAN JURGENS DRAWS G.I. JOE

Dan Jurgens told The Continuum that he is drawing a G.I. Joe story for Devil's Due and Image Comics.

"Larry Hama is writing, I'm drawing and Bob Layton will be inking a four-issue (story for) G.I. Joe: Front Line," Jurgens told The Continuum. "Front Line will bridge the gap in time from the Marvel stuff to what Devil's Due is doing today. We've just gotten started and it promises to be a lot of fun.

"The funny part is the reaction of my kids. If the walk into my studio and see me drawing Superman, Cap or virtually anyone else, they don't think much of it. But if they walk in here when Joe is on my board and the action figures are scattered about, suddenly, something interesting is going on!"

G.I. Joe: Front Line will likely begin in October.

JETCAT CLUBHOUSE IN AUGUST

Oni Press on Thursday announced the August release of the trade paperback collection of Jay Stephens' Jetcat Clubhouse.

The book will house all three of the Oni Press issues, starring Jetcat, Tutenstein, Ploppy, Oddette, and all the hilarious characters of Stephen's fun-for-all-ages world. In keeping with the format of the original comics, most of the book will be in black-and-white, but there will also be 24 pages in color, including a recolored Oddette story from Dark Horse's Scatterbrain anthology.

"People see the phrase 'all ages' and think, 'Oh, kid's comics,'" said Oni publisher Joe Nozemack. "Not Jay Stephens. He understands that 'all ages' means suitable for everybody-and as a result, he makes some of the coolest comics on the planet. It's impossible not to smile when reading Jetcat Clubhouse, and that holds true whether you're in kindergarten, sipping a mocha in Starbucks, or in a retirement home."

"I am excited that this material is getting collected," Stephens said. "I look at Jetcat Clubhouse as a cross between those giant Walt Disney comics paperbacks we all loved as kids and MAD Magazine. You get a ton of stories under one cover, and you never know where you're going to go every time you turn the page."

Jetcat Clubhouse does have a multimedia tie-in. In addition to the Jetcat shorts that appeared on Nickelodeon a couple of years ago, there is also a Tutenstein cartoon series in production with the Discovery Channel, premiering on the NBC Saturday morning block in March 2003.

"As far as Oni is concerned, Jay Stephens and Jetcat is one of our best candidates for mainstream appeal," said Oni editor in chief Jamie S. Rich. "His comics and characters are just so easy to love, and they don't seem all that out of place next to things like The Powerpuff Girls or Spy Kids. When Tutenstein premieres, Jetcat Clubhouse will serve as a perfect purchase for new fans looking to sample the comics."

Jetcat Clubhouse is scheduled to ship on Aug. 14. It is a digest-sized comic book with 80 pages of black-and-white story and art, 24 pages of color, and it retails for 10.95.

KOLCHAK THE NIGHT STALKER: THE GET OF BELIAL

Adapted by Joe Gentile, art by Art Nichols, colored by Felix Serrano, cover by Doug Klauba.

A much-rumored lost TV episode script has been found. When the show was over, there were a couple of scripts left lying around unfilmed. Kolchak heads down to Winship County, West Virginia to get the lowdown on a heated miner's strike. When the mine's bossman is violently torn to shreds the ovious answer is one of the hard-hats just couldn't take it anymore. The M.E. rules a pick axe did him in. A miner's tool. And when a striker gets it in the exact same manner? Must be retribution. Sure, Carl buys that one-and Kris Kringle flies around in a black helicopter on Christmas Eve.
