Tuesday, August 13, 2002WITCHBLADE TV UPDATERalph Hemecker, producer of TNT's Witchblade television series, told The Continuum that the season's final two episodes promise to be among the best in the show's two years. "The last two episodes are pretty quintessentially Witchblade," Hemecker told The Continuum in a telephone interview on Monday. "They're pretty bizarre, and you don't really know where they're going." Hemecker also talked about the return of Conchobar, killing Kenneth Irons and a possible third season. DAREDEVIL MOVIE UPDATEThe first promotional material for the Daredevil movie is reaching theaters across the nation. The window cling shows the DD logo on fire, similar to a scene that was featured in the first teaser/trailer and is pictured above. At the bottom is "Presidents Day 2003." The film is scheduled for release on Feb. 14, 2003. The window cling is also being used as a poster. It is photographed here at the Showcase Cinemas in Ann Arbor, Mich. SPIDER-MAN ANIMATED UPDATEMorgan Gendel is the new executive producer/writer for MTV's Spider-Man animated series. Gendel's producing credits include V.I.P, Pensacola: Wings of Gold and Nash Bridges. His writing credits include those shows, as well as the CHiPs '99 movie, Star Trek: Deep Space Nine and Law and Order. Greg Johnson, who is the story editor of Kids' WB!'s X-Men: Evolution, has also done some work for the show. Spider-Man is expected to premiere on MTV early next year. BRIEFLY
