FIRST LOOK: LEAVE IT TO CHANGE HC VOL. I: SHAMAN'S RAIN
Leave it to Chance HC Vol. I: Shaman's Rain will arrive in stores on Wednesday from Image Comics. The issue is written by James Robinson, with art and cover by Paul Smith. Here's how Image describes the issue: "Fourteen-year-old Chance Falconer has the occult in her blood. Her father, Lucas Falconer, is the supernatural defender of the Devil's Echo, an amazing city where the supernatural is an everyday occurrence. This is a family tradition handed down from one generation to the next and so Chance feels it's time for her training to begin. Her father, however, has other ideas. His role as Devil's Echo's protector has left him a scarred and changed man. But when Lucas puts his foot down and says no to Chance's desire to continue the family tradition, she strikes out on her own to prove him wrong - getting involved in her own mysteries and adventures both fantastic and otherworldly. Is she up to this task? Leave it to Chance. Praised for its widespread appeal and ability to entertain both children and adults alike, Shaman's Rain is the first in Image's ongoing collections of the Harvey and Eisner award winning Leave it to Chance material. This will lead into new volumes picking up where the original series left off. Printed in an oversized hardcover format, this edition is Leave it to Chance as you have never seen it before." Leave it to Chance HC Vol. I: Shaman's Rain will be 112 pages and will cost $14.95.
