FIRST LOOK: ADVENTURES OF SUPERMAN #609

Adventures of Superman #609 will arrive in stores on Wednesday from DC Comics. The issue is written by Joe Casey, with art by Derec Aucoin and a cover by Kevin Nowlan.

Here's how DC describes the issue:

"'Ending Battle,' Part 6 of 8. On the trail of the man responsible for the attacks on his friends and family, Superman is attacked by an armada of all-new villains. Can the Man of Steel stand up to the sheer number of adversaries against him?"

Fables #6 will arrive in stores on Wednesday from DC Comics. The issue is written by Bill Willingham, with art by Mark Buckingham and Steve Leialoha and a painted cover by James Jean.

Here's how DC describes the issue:

"Mark Buckingham pencils the newest story arc, the 5-part 'Animal Farm.' The mystery of her sister's murder has been solved, and the guilty parties have been punished. This leaves Fabletown's Deputy Mayor Snow White physically exhausted, spiritually drained, and in need of a big rest.
