The issue is written by Barbara Kesel, penciled by Steve McNiven, inked by Tom Simmons and colored by Morry Hollowell. Here's how CrossGen describes the issue: "Sephie’s been on the wrong side of the law. As a pirate, she used force to change the waves of trade. So what happens when she finds herself on the other side of the diplomatic equation when refugees from Torbel come to Cadador — armed and ready to take the island for their own. Since Ilahn of Cadador let Torbel fall, they feel it’s only fair that they be given the island of Cadador in payment for their tragedy. Does Sephie side with the refugees, or the island she now governs?" Meridian #29 will be 32 pages and will cost $2.95.

And even if the enemy is driven back, Ryuichi is still bound to carry out the death sentence on Obo-san’s head." The Path #8 will be 32 pages and will cost $2.95.

Solving the case necessitates Simon’s taking a direct role as an undercover operative. Meanwhile, Emma has an investigation of her own, one involving a lascivious seaman and a druidess’ robes.
