PUNISHER MOVIE UPDATE

Artisan Entertainment has provided The Continuum with a first look at Thomas Jane as The Punisher.

The film, written and directed by Jonathan Hensleigh, is targeted for a summer 2004 relase.

The Punisher is being produced by Gale Anne Hurd and Marvel Studios' Avi Arad.

NEW ANGEL EPISODE

The WB has released eight images from "Home," the episode of Angel set to air on Wednesday, May 7.

Here's how the network describes the episode:

"Angel (David Boreanaz) and the gang are made an offer they can't refuse when they are given the opportunity to take over Wolfram & Hart and obtain all of the firm's secret and powerful information. Meanwhile, Angel has a chance to change the future for his son Connor (Vincent Kartheiser), who is physically and emotionally lost and wandering through the city."

The episode was written and directed by Tim Minear.

  • Christopher Moeller's Iron Empires graphic novels are to be collected in two deluxe trade paperbacks by Dark Horse Comics.

    Moeller became known in the comics industry for his fully painted science fiction graphic novels: Faith Conquers (published by Dark Horse Comics in 1994) and Sheva's War (published by DC Comics under their Helix imprint in 1998). Scheduled for a late 2003 release date, this will be the first time in nine years that both Iron Empires stories will again be available to the public.
