SMALLVILLE UPDATE

Smallville #5 from DC Comics will include a lead story that bridges the gap between Seasons 2 and 3 of the television series, editor Tom Palmer Jr. told The Continuum.

"We'll get to see what 'Bad Clark' has been up to in Metropolis and it ain't too nice!" Palmer told The Continuum.

The lead story is written by Mark Verheiden and Clint Carpenter, with art by Tom Derenick and Adam DeKraker.

The back-up story, written by Clint and Jake Black with art by Pete Woods and Ron Randall, focuses on Whitney.

"We saw that he died on the show, but there are some interesting events that lead up to it," Palmer said.

Smallville #5 will arrive in stores in November.
