FIRST LOOKS

FIRST LOOK: SIGIL #39

Sigil #39 will arrive in stores on Sept. 4 from CrossGen Entertainment. The issue is written by Chuck Dixon, penciled by Ron Wagner, inked by Armando Durruthy and colored by Andrew Crossley.

Here's how CrossGen describes the issue:

"It's the Saurians vs. the Negation in the most intense space battle yet. The universe you love to hate has engulfed a Saurian outworld, and now it's up to Tchlusarud and his most wicked warriors to save the planet. But no one told the Negation to fight fair -- so expect writer Chuck Dixon to pull out all the stops."

Sigil #39 will be 32 pages and will cost $2.95.

FIRST LOOK: LADY DEATH #7

Lady Death #7 will arrive in stores on Wednesday from CrossGen Entertainment. The issue is written by Brian Pulido, penciled by Ivan Reis, inked by Marc Campos and colored by Chris Blythe.

Here's how CrossGen describes the issue:

"Jump on here as a new story begins. In the aftermath of the devastating battle of Novgorod, Hope's Eldritch half-sister delivers horrifying news. Darkminds Macropolis II #1 will arrive in stores on Sept. 4 from Dreamwave Productions. The issue is created by Pat Lee and written by Chris Sarracini, with art by Kwang Mook Lim and colors by Dreamwave Colors.

Here's how Dreamwave describes the issue:

"Macropolis' most sinister serial killer continues to torture Nagawa with his sadistic game, luring him to the city's most dangerous corner: the lawless streets of the Red Light District. To make matters worse, Nagawa is wanted for the shooting death of a pedestrian. Can Nagawa avoid the police long enough to catch the killer? Can he even stay alive long enough?
