TEEN TITANS #2 GETS SECOND PRINTINGDC Comics has announced it is sending the sold-out Teen Titans #2 back to press. Teen Titans #2 Second Printing features a new cover by Mike McKone and Marlo Alquiza that was first seen in Wizard magazine. It is scheduled to be in stores on Oct. 1. "It's just great to see the readers, retailers and DC supporting the book like this," said Teen Titans writer Geoff Johns. "The first issue of Teen Titans sold out three printings, so it's no secret that demand for this series is very strong," said Bob Wayne, DC's VP - sales & marketing. "Going back to press on this issue will help retailers bring new readers on board."

THE HEDGE KNIGHT #1 SELLS OUTImage Comics has announced that Diamond has sold out of George R.R. Martin's The Hedge Knight #1 by George R.R. Martin, Ben Avery, Mike S. Miller and Mike Crowell. The issue was available with three covers, by Miller, Michael Kaluta and the Brothers Hildebrandt. "Given the broad appeal of this title's source material, I think it's clear George R.R. Martin's The Hedge Knight was under-ordered," said Image director of marketing Eric Stephenson. "Everyone who picked up the preview in San Diego was incredibly enthusiastic about this book, and when copies of the first issue hit Wizard World Chicago last month, they immediately sold out." "Unless you read the original story, you've never read anything like this before," said Les Dabel, vice president and new business director of Roaring Studios. "It's a powerful story driven by characters and circumstances rather than by the tired cliches you tend to find in comics these days. We were actually a bit worried about the way the first book in the series would be received because it doesn't really have any significant action sequences." Future issues of the title will feature variant covers, including #2 by Boris Vallejo and Julie Bell, #3 by Tom Mandrake, #4 by Tom Yeates and #5 by Ted
Nasmith.

BRIEFLYHere's how ADV describes the book: "The plane carrying the students of Jindai High School on a trip to Okinawa is hijacked, and they find themselves miles from their destination, and in great danger. It's up to the dangerously gung-ho undercover agent/student/clueless dreamboat Sosuke Sagara to save the day again." The book, by Shouji Gatou and Retsu Tateo, will be 200 black-and-white pages and will cost $9.99.
