OUTSIDERS CREATORS REMAIN DC EXCLUSIVE

Writer Judd Winick and artist Tom Raney, the creative team behind DC Comics' new series Outsiders, have renewed their exclusive agreements with DC.

Winick has extended his contract for two years. He is also the writer of Green Arrow, the Superman/Thundercats Special, the 12-issue suggested-for-mature-readers maxi-series Caper, and the Vertigo mini-series Blood and Water.

"I am thrilled and enthused about continuing my work with DC Comics," Winick said. "I'm writing characters I love, creating stories that excite me and working with some of the best people in the business."

Raney, whose past work includes StormWatch and Thor, has extended his for two years.

"This past year has been great," Raney said. "I'm working with a fantastic group of people on Outsiders, and everyone at DC has been very supportive. Judd, Scott Hanna and Gina Going have been a thrill to work with!. I couldn't ask for a better team! On the editorial side, everyone from Eddie Berganza and Lysa Hawkins all the way up to Dan DiDio and beyond have been great! They've all shown a huge amount of faith in us and our book.I couldn't be more pleased. How could I leave?"

"Outsiders is one of the surprise hits of this year," said Dan Didio, DC's VP-editorial. "The fact that the writer and artist on the series have re-upped with DC ensures its continued success."
