"The Search for She-Hulk" will be the first story arc of Avengers drawn by Scott Kolins under his exclusive contract to Marvel Comics.

Kolins will be teaming with his former The Flash collaborator Geoff Johns, who is writing his last Avengers arc as he becomes exclusive to DC Comics.

The four-part arc launches in Avengers #72, which goes on sale on Oct. 29. According to Marvel, the arc precedes "a special Avengers event this January.

Here's how Marvel describes Avengers #72:

"Her transformations in the She-Hulk out of control, Jennifer Walters seeks the one person on Earth who can help ... you know, her cousin ... that guy who also knows a little something about uncontrollable transformations. And while Jennifer searches high and low for the Incredible Hulk, her long-time Avengers teammates spread out all over the globe searching for her."

VIRTEX RETURNS

The cyborg cowboy Virtex, who first appeared in 1998, returns in Digital Webbing Presents #13.

Originally published by Oktomica Entertainment, Virtex tells the tale of a cybernetic cowboy that hunts outlaws across The Badlands -- a time-amalgamated world where Arthurian knights ride dinosaurs and World War II fighter planes are fitted with satellite-guided smart bombs.

"Virtex was born as a bastard child of the operatic gunfights of films of John Woo, the techno-cynicism of James Cameron and Paul Verhoeven, and Sergio Leone's spaghetti westerns," said creator Casey Lau.

Along with scripter Jeff Kwan and artist TeeJay Frias, Lau presents a 12-page all-new Virtex story for DWP #13.

The story continues where the original series left off, but has enough information for new readers," Lau said. "Virtex is reintroduced five years later as we reveal where he's been and where he's headed."

Also appearing in the issue:

* "Intrinsic Dreams," by Troy Wall and Kody Chamberlain.

* "Slight of Hand: Stiletto," by Ian Ascher, Dan Campos and James Taylor.

* "The Interrogation," by Chris Kirby and Gil Agudin.

* "Just Another Wednesday," by Ev Jameson and Justin Peterson.

Digital Webbing Presents #13 will be 40 black-and-white pages, will reach stores on Dec. 17 and will cost $2.95.
