Here's how CrossGen describes the issue: "He's a battle-scarred soldier who just wants to live his life out of the spotlight...but to save the universe from the horrors of the Negation, Sam will have to make a huge decision!" Sigil #40 will be 32 pages and will cost $2.95.
FIRST LOOK: NOBLE CAUSES: DISTANT RELATIVES #3Noble Causes: Distant Relatives #3 will arrive in stores on Oct. 22 from Image Comics. The issue is written by Jay Faerber, with art by Ian Richardson and Ray-Anthony Height and a cover by Richardson and Ken Wolak. Here's how Image describes the issue: "A bitter betrayal sours Frost's visit with his family, as Liz searches a strange landscape for any sign of Race. Meanwhile, Celeste catches Rusty in a compromising situation, and Krennick brings a special guest to his underworld castle. FIRST LOOK: WOLVERINE: THE END #1Wolverine: The End #1 will arrive in stores on Nov. 5 from Marvel Comics. The issue is written by Paul Jenkins, with art and cover by Claudio Castellini. Here's how DC describes the issue: "As the circle of his own life begins to close, the death of someone important in his life draws Logan out of seclusion. Returning to a world he thought he'd long since left behind, Logan embarks on a journey of self-discovery, closing in on answers about his mysterious history that have long eluded him." Wolverine: The End #1 will be 32 pages and will cost $2.99.
FIRST LOOK: SUPERMAN: THE KANSAS SIGHTING #1Superman: The Kansas Sighting #1 will arrive in stores on Nov. 19 from DC Comics. The issue is written by J.M. DeMatteis, with art and cover by Jamie Tolagson Here's how DC describes the issue: "A 2-issue Prestige mini-series exposing Jor-El's early trips to Earth via Kryptonian "UFOs." Surely Jor-El wouldn't have sent his only son to Earth without thoroughly checking the planet, right? Could he have sent probes to our world? Perhaps he even kidnapped Earth inhabitants for study? Superman wrestles with the guilt of knowing his father may have done these things to protect him - and a team of UFOlogists who remember and research a UFO landing called "The Kansas Sighting" are out to prove that it is connected to the first appearance of the Man of Steel."
