SQP FOR MARCH
Following are SQP's solicitations for March, with information coming from the company.
THE ART OF ERIK DRUDWYN
By Erik Drudwyn.
Erik Drudwyn's work is the very model of perfection. Using live and lovely young ladies in his studio, Erik reaches a level of realism not often achieved in fantasy art. These illustrations have a sensual aura to them, as if you could actually reach out and touch the girls. This is Drudwyn's first full color collection of his paintings.
48 pages, $14.95.
By Bill Bronson.
Artist/writer Bill Bronson takes a mockin' and rockin' look at horror and grrl-power, and comes up with a crunchy mix of tricks and treats he calls Chicks & Monsters. A multi-flavored package of cruel-to-be-cool comics and painfully delightful drawings, Bronson's work can be described as a kind of punk Charles Addams for the new millennium. Stories include The Postmortem Girls in "The Band Practice that Woke the Dead," The Mothball Jawbreaker Gang in "Clean Up on Aisle 666," and The South Side Saints do battle with rowdy hobgoblins who don't know when to leave! All this and pages of pin-ups, sketches, and other decidedly demented and morbidly fascinating artwork.
64 pages, black and white, $9.95.
SQP is taking the best of the best and creating exquisite fine quality full color prints. Paintings will be presented without any logos or type to obscure its beauty and design. New works will also be commissioned to showcase an artist's finest efforts. Reproduction will be exacting, and printed on super-heavy 15pt board, with an additional UV coating to perserve maximum color. The first of this new series showcases the cover art to "Mermaids 2 - A Gallery Girls Collection" by Pelaez.
