DARK HORSE COMICS FIRST LOOKS

FIRST LOOK: CRUSH #3

Crush #3 will arrive in stores on Wednesday from Dark Horse Comics. The issue is written by Jason Hall, with art and cover by Sean Murphy.

Here's how Dark Horse describes the issue:

"After barely escaping an encounter with Agent Bixby's werewolf assassins, Liz gets in a disastrous argument with her adopted parents that her alter-ego Crush finishes...in the monster's typically explosive fashion. Liz finds refuge with Carl and Jen, her only real confidants, who are dedicated to helping her solve the mystery of her brutal transformations and mysterious past. Life is definitely changing for Liz, with shadowy secret agents and her own classmates after her. Have you ever had nightmares about being naked in front of your class in high school? Well, this issue's cliffhanger ending is much worse, putting Liz in a situation that may be the final straw that breaks her crumbling reality into pieces."

Crush #3 will be 32 pages and will cost $2.99.

Fused: Think Like a Machine #2 will arrive in stores on Wednesday from Dark Horse Comics. The issue is written by Steve Niles, with art by Josh Medors and a cover by Eric Powell.

Here's how Dark Horse describes the issue:

"Things haven't been the same for Dr. Mark Haggerty since his all-too-human body fused to the internal workings of a hi-tech cyborg exo-suit. Now that the Cy-Bot suit has fully claimed the physical humanity of the young scientist, Mark and his wife, Nikki, are left wondering if it will also take his mind. Still, the couple faces more immediate concerns, starting with the Implementers -- the top secret militants who seek to recruit Mark for their own uses and will apparently stop at nothing to get him to comply. When Mark and Nikki decide to leave the military base and try life as civilians, Doctor Hussar and the Implementers take drastic action and turn to the darkest, most dangerous secrets of the U.S. military for help. Look out, Cy-Bot--here comes Cro-Mag."
