THE PUNISHER MOVIE UPDATE

The new trailer for The Punisher movie is scheduled to reach theaters on Friday, Feb. 20, The Continuum has learned.

The trailer, which follows a previous teaser and trailer for the April 16-debuting film, might appear online on or television before it hits theaters.

Early buzz on the film surrounds the performance of Thomas Jane in the title role. Marvel Studios' Kevin Feige told The Continuum moviegoers will see "a Thomas Jane like they've never seen him before."

"Tom is a chameleon in all of his movies," Feige said. "If you take six of Tom's other movies, he's so different and so varied in each of them because he's such a great actor."

Look for more on The Punisher next week here in The Continuum.
