HELLBOY, CATWOMAN CARDS

Inkworks' Allan Caplan told The Continuum that the Hellboy movie cards, in stores on March 24, will be available in more than 2,000 outlets.

Inkworks had an elaborate display for Hellboy at MegaCon in Orlando, Fla., including actual props from the film, which reaches theaters on April 2. Caplan said he is satisfied with how the card set turned out.

"We ended up with everything we needed," Caplan said of the set. "And we got all of the costumes."

The costumes for the Pieceworks cards include Hellboy's leather coat and pair of pants, Liz Sherman's shirt and coat, Abe Sapien's top and more.

Caplan said that Inkworks will be producing trading cards for the upcoming Catwoman movie starring Halle Berry. The cards are tentatively scheduled for a July 7 release.

With Warner Bros. guarded over imagery from the film, Inkworks had just two promotional images at MegaCon.

Other upcoming Inkworks sets include Alien vs. Predator on July 28, Buffy the Vampire Slayer: Women of Sunnydale on Aug. 25, Angel: Season 5 on Sept. 22 and Smallville: Season 3 on Oct. 20.
