![]() HELLBOY MOVIE UPDATE![]() Ron Perlman, who stars in the upcoming Hellboy movie, said that he used a similar approach to Hellboy that he did in the Beauty and the Beast television series. "The only other time where I have not worked out a character in advance was Hellboy," Perlman said during a video-taped presentation at MegaCon last weekend. "Because on an instinctive level there's this connection that if I began to think about him or work on him or manufacture him, it'd only be about compromise. "So when I think about a day where I have to play a scene, I'll spend enough time to learn my lines but no other thought would go into it. It comes purely from the heart." In other Hellboy news: * DreamCon has announced that Perlman will be its guest of honor. The convention is June 11-13 in Jacksonville, Fla., and Perlman will be appearing on June 12. * BestBuy.com has posted the 10-minute featurette. It can also be picked upin DVD format at Best Buy stores. * Below are more images from Inkworks' display at MegaCon, including Hellboy products and props from the film.
