DC COMICS FOR JUNE

DC Comics will be releasing its solicitation information for June on Tuesday.

BLADE: TRINITY MOVED

New Line Cinema has announced it is releasing Blade: Trinity on Dec. 10, pushing the film back nearly four months.

The film, the third in the Blade franchise starring Wesley Snipes as the Marvel Comics vampire hunter, was originally scheduled for on Aug. 12 release.

Blade: Trinity will now be New Line's final release of 2004.

Beckett Comics has provided The Continuum with images and descriptions of its comics for this summer.

Following is a rundown, with descriptions from the publisher:

RUULE -- VOL. #2: KISS AND TELL, June

Written by Jeff Amano, art by Craig Rousseau, colors by Giulia Brusco.

"Cleaning Up His City One Dame At A Time. Betrayed by all legs and even more curves, Sam Strong finds himself alone and in-between the mob and dirty cops. Having immense strength never gave Sam a reason to use his nogginą much, not even as a private dick. He basically bullied his way through a case just as he did in life. So no one was surprised that Sam got taken to the bank when he met up with a dame who had the upstairs to match her downstairs. The real surprise was how Sam came back and made the whole stinkin' town pay.

THE BALLAD OF SLEEPING BEAUTY, July (available Free Comic Day)

Written by Gabriel Benson, art by Mike Hawthorne, colors by Mike Atiyeh.

"Only An Outlaw Could Save Her." In this dark re-imagining of the classic fairy tale, legendary gunfighter Cole Jarett has spent the last five years of his life searching for his wifeąs killer, collecting scalps along the way. But soon Coleąs ornery ways puts him at the wrong end of a tight noose with an irritating young man named Red destined to dangle beside him. Redąs a good enough sort except for all his yapping Śbout a beautiful lady cursed to spend the rest of her days imprisoned in sleep for sins she did not commit. For some reason, the kidąs tale haunts something in Cole, something long forgotten and he vows to join Redąs quest. But first, they must escape the gallows.

FADE FROM GRACE, August

Together, John and Grace learn that power may wane, fame is fleeting, but love never fades.

BRIEFLY

Dreamwave Productions has released several images from The Transformers Summer Special. The one-shot features Dreamwave's first take on the Beast Wars and Robots in Disguise Franchises. Click on the thumbnails above for larger images.

"Perry," the episode of Smallville guest-starring Michael McKean as Perry White, will be rebroadcast on Wednesday, March 24 at 8 p.m. (ET) on The WB.

SMASH! Comics and Dark Delicacy Press are co-publishing Dreams in Texture, a 32-page, black-and-white anthology scheduled for a July release. Dark Delicacy Press is made up of two creators, Kevin Clorey and Tom Muzzell, who live in the Hanover, Ontario area.
