FIRST LOOK: LADY DEATH: THE WILD HUNT #1
Lady Death: The Wild Hunt #1 will arrive in stores on Wednesday from CrossGen Entertainment. The issue is written by Brian Pulido, penciled by Jim Cheung, inked by Mark Pennington and colored by Wil Quintana.
Here's how CrossGen describes the issue:
"Brian Pulido has turned the life of his chaotic creation upside down. Jumping ahead one full year from the events of Lady Death: A Medieval Tale #12, the debut issue reveals that the supernatural race known as the Eldritch have declared war on humanity and conquered Europe. In a desperate effort to protect the innocent, Lady Death - born of the two races now at war - leads an underground resistance force comprised of allies who were once enemies. But how can one woman, even one possessing amazing abilities, stop two worlds from obliterating the other? "
Lady Death: The Wild Hunt #1 will be 32 pages and will cost $2.95.
FIRST LOOK: THE BLACK FOREST
The Black Forest will arrive in stores in April from Image Comics. The issue is written by Todd Livingston and Robert Tinnell, with art by Neil Vokes and a cover by Michael Avon Oeming.
Here's how Image describes the issue:
"World War I. In the battle between good and evil, evil just got creative: The Germans are developing a mysterious weapon to break through the trenches. American pilot Jack Shannon and Archie Caldwell, Britain's greatest stage magician, are sent behind enemy lines, into the heart of the supernatural vortex that is the Black Forest. There, in a remote castle, they match wits with evil occultist Avery Dye, who aims to use Frankenstein's Monster as a template to create an army of unstoppable re-animated dead! The WBlack Forest will be 104 black-and-white pages and will cost $9.95.
FIRST LOOK: FRACTION #1
Fraction #1 will arrive in stores on April 21 from DC Comics. The issue is written by David Tischman, with art by Timothy Green II and a cover by Tomer Hanuka.
Here's how DC describes the issue:
"The newest DC Focus series tells the tale of four tough Philly guys who steal the components of a powerful battle suit. When they split the parts between them, all their lives are changed as paranoia and in-fighting turn them against one another. And someone out there wants the suit back. What would you do for a piece of the action?"
Fraction #1 will be 32 pages and will cost $2.50.
