The issue is written by Brad Mick, with art by Pat Lee. Here's how Dreamwave describes the issue: "Things really start to heat up for our mouthful merc when he goes mano-a-monster with the massive demon lord known as Phantom. But are Dante's pistols and wisecracks enough to take down this multi-limbed menace? And what's the agenda of the mysterious swordsman who trails Dante's every move from the shadows? Expect plenty of action and intrigue in the second installment of the hit series based on the top-selling video game franchise." Devil May Cry Book Two: Superbeast will be 40 pages and will cost $3.95.
FIRST LOOK: CLOUDBURST![]() Cloudburst will arrive in stores in June from Image Comics. The issue is written by Justin Gray and Jimmy Palmiotti, with art by Christopher Shy and Eliseu Gouveia and a cover by Amanda Conner and Palmiotti. Here's how Dreamwave describes the issue: "An experimental weather machine, a transport ship filled with hundreds of families and a troop of hired killers converge on a derelict colony world only to discover it's not abandoned. Lauren Moore is a brilliant young scientist and the creator of Cloudburst: a massive satellite designed to control rainfall on dry planets. Onboard a new colony ship carrying several hundred families, soldiers and cryogenically stored animal embryos, Lauren has been commissioned to use Cloudburst to terraform the planet. What Lauren doesn't know is the soldiers escorting the ship have been sent to remove the existing colonists to make room for the new ones. The corporate term is eviction. The human term is mass murder. The only man who can help her is a mysterious drifter who some say is only a myth, an invention of desert nomads and lunatics." Cloudburst will be 64 pages and will cost $7.95.
FIRST LOOK: CHALLENGERS OF THE UNKNOWN #1![]() Challengers of the Unknown #1 will arrive in stores on June 16 from DC Comics. The issue is written by Howard Chaykin, with art and cover by Chaykin. Here's how DC describes the issue: "A 6-issue mini-series reinventing a classic DC team. Five extraordinary people with seemingly nothing in common share the bond of surviving a cataclysmic event. In a world devoid of super-heroes, they come together and discover that everything they know has been a lie, that the world we live in is not the one we believe it to be. To survive, they must unite and face the true masters of our universe. It's a world where literally anything can happen, and probably will." Challengers of the Unknown #1 will be 32 pages and will cost $2.95.
