Monday, April 12, 2004JEPH LOEB TALKS SUPERMAN/BATMAN![]() DC Comics has released the following question-and-answer with Superman/Batman writer Jeph Loeb. In Superman/Batman #12, written by Loeb with art by Michael Turner, Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman have traveled to Apokolips to rescue Kara Zor-El. But does she want to be saved? Q: What can readers expect in Superman/Batman #12? A: Things go a littleunexpected. Okay, a lot unexpected. We don't know a whole lot about Kara, and in this issue, we might find out some things we'd rather not. Q: What made you want to bring back Supergirl? A: I didnıt bring back anyone! This story is called "The Supergirl from Krypton." What happens to her in these six issues marks the beginning of a new person in Superman's life
and in the DCU.
Q: What's it like working with Michael Turner?
A: It's just fun. We've been friends for a long time and see this story very, very similarly. It's like I write it, and he draws it, and I'm constantly amazed by the results -- and also by our colorist supreme Peter Steigerwald and my good luck charm, the ever-crafty Richard Starkings, who are both bringing a look to the book that is pretty spectacular.
Q: In "The Supergirl from Krypton," you
get to write all three of DCıs classic trinity of heroes. Do you have a favorite?
A: Theyıre all great. Iım honored to play with them even for a short time.
