FIRST LOOKS

FIRST LOOK: SEAGUY #1

Seaguy #1 will arrive in stores on Wednesday from DC Comics. The issue is written by by Grant Morrison, with art and covers by Cameron Stewart.

Here's how DC describes the issue:

"Award-winning writer Grant Morrison charts new territory with a 3-issue miniseries filled with colorful heroes, sinister theme parks, beautifully bearded women, a cigar-smoking tuna fish, and art by Cameron Stewart. Set in a world where all the major battles have been won, Seaguy is a wistful, would-be hero who, with his pal Chubby Da Choona, embarks on a fantastical, picaresque voyage through a post-Utopian world filled with bizarre adventure and terrible sacrifice."

Seaguy #1 will be 40 pages and will cost $2.95.

FIRST LOOK: LUCIFER #50

Lucifer #50 will arrive in stores on Wednesday from DC Comics. The issue is written Mike Carey, with art by P. Craig Russell and a cover by Christopher Moeller.

Here's how DC describes the issue:

"It's an extra-sized 50th issue celebration featuring art by Eisner Award-winner P. Craig Russell in a story titled 'Lilith.' At the dawn of Creation, there was a woman who defied both God and man for the sake of her own idea of love. Dark secrets and dirty politics collide as the true origins both of the Silver City and Lucifer's relationship with Mazikeen are revealed."

Lucifer #50 will be 48 pages and will cost $3.50.

FIRST LOOK: MENTHU #1

Menthu #1 will arrive in stores in June from Hometown Productions. The issue is written and drawn by Robert Roach.

Here's how Hometown Productions describes the issue:

"Rashan N'Shanga, a pro football player entering his rookie year, has his world turned inside out when he learns that his father, Anhur, is ancient Egypt's god of war. After this revelation he sets forth on a quest--stretching from L.A. to Lake Victoria to ancient Egypt's immortal realm--in order to understand his awesome new powers & his origin."
