FIRST LOOK: CONAN #5

Conan #5 will arrive in stores on June 23 from Dark Horse Comics. The issue is written by Kurt Busiek, with art by Cary Nord and Tom Yeates and a cover by Joseph Michael Linsner.

Here's how Dreamwave describes the issue:

"Conan's first Hyperborean adventure reveals the secrets of immortality, and the peaceful northern paradise is shown for the nightmare it really is. Conan breaks from those who've enslaved him, but is unable to save the lives of the prisoners he leads, or the woman hešs fallen in love with."

FIRST LOOK: STAR WARS: REPUBLIC #66

Star Wars: Republic #66 will arrive in stores on June 23 from Dark Horse Comics. The issue is written by John Ostrander, with art by Jan Duursema and Dan Parsons.

Here's how Dark Horse describes the issue:

"Four Jedi with prices on their heads versus a space station full of bounty hunters! Really, need we say more? Mace Windu has decided that it's time for the Jedi to flex their muscles demonstrate to the Bounty Hunters' Guild the folly of attacking Jedi. Terra Obscura Vol. 2 #1 will arrive in stores on Aug. 18 from DC Comics. The issue is written by Alan Moore and Peter Hogan, with art and cover by Yanick Paquette and Karl Story.

Here's how DC describes the book:

Daisy Kutter #1 will arrive in stores on August from Viper Comics. The issue is written by Kazu Kibuishi, with art and cover by Kibuishi.
