FIREBREATHER ONE-SHOT, TRADEFirebreather, from Phil Hester and Andy Kuhn, will return in a new one-shot on Oct. 27 from Image Comics. Firebreather: The Iron Saint, follows Duncan on a class trip to Europe, where he meets the Iron Saint, an unstoppable force hell-bent on preventing dragons (or half-dragons) from setting foot on European soil. The 48-page one-shot will be colored by Bill Crabtree. Hester said the one-shot was a chance for he and Kuhn to cut loose and have fun with their creation. "Firebreather: The Iron Saint is our attempt to combine the humor and drama of the original series while unleashing Mr. Kuhn to render copious pages of unearthly monsters beating the tar out of each other," Hester said. "I understand the powers that be at Image authorized Andy to turn his pencil all the way to 11 for this one." The four-issue Firebreather mini-series from 2003 will be collected in a trade paperback, Firebreather: Volume One, that reaches stores on Wednesday.
