The issue is written by James McDonough and Adam Patyk, with art by Don Figueroa. Here's how Dreamwave describes the issue: "Things get a bit buggy for the Autobot brothers, and fanfave badasses, Sideswipe and Sunstreaker as they face off against a veritable legion of mutated Insecticons smack dab in the middle of the bugged-out Cons' lair." Tranformers Generation One #8 will be 32 pages and will cost $2.95.
FIRST LOOK: DETECTIVE COMICS #801Detective Comics #801 will arrive in stores on Dec. 1 from DC Comics. The issue is written by David Lapham and Mike Carey, with art by Ramon Bachs and Nathan Massengill and John Lucas and a cover by Lapham. Here's how DC describes the book: "Part 1 of the sprawling 12-part saga 'City of Crime.' Gotham City at night is no place for children, as Batman knows all too well. FIRST LOOK: HELLBOY: ODDER JOBSHellboy: Odder Jobs will arrive in stores on Oct. 6 from Dark Horse Comics. The book is written by Filmmakers Frank Darabont, Mick Garris, Guillermo del Toro, Charles de Lint, Graham Joyce, Kim Newman, Sharyn McCrumb and others and illustrated by Mike Mignola. Here's how Dark Horse describes the book: "Mike Mignola's award-winning series Hellboy has earned fans all over the world, among them some of the most respected horror, fantasy, and mystery novelists in the field, and some of Hollywood's most talented writers and directors.
