FIRST LOOK: SEA OF RED #1

Sea of Red #1 will arrive in stores on March 23 from Image Comics. The issue is by by Rick Remender, Kieron Dwyer and Salgood Sam.

Here's how Image describes the issue:

"Sea of Red tells the tale of a young sailor turned undead by the crew of a cursed Pirate ship, his century-spanning search for revenge and the tricks that time plays on the mind.

"1533. Deep in the night, a ship sinks under mysterious circumstances. Twenty-three year-old Marco Esperanza is the only survivor, left adrift with only a plank of wood to keep him afloat. After days of drifting, he is brought aboard a strange ship. But his salvation turns to nightmare as he learns the ship is the dreaded Black Galleon. The evil mates of the Galleon arenıt just pirates, theyıre vampires, and Marco is soon forced to join the damned crew.

"2004. Marco Esperanza has spent the past 400 years clinging to life tied to the bow of a sunken vessel in the dark, briny, deep. Surviving on the cold sour blood of fish, Marco awaits his release and a chance for revenge that may never come."

FIRST LOOK: LETHAL INSTINCT #1

Lethal Instinct #1 will arrive in stores in April from Alias Enterprises. The issue is Romulo Soares, Wagner Baehr and Bart A. Thompson.

Here's how Alias describes the book:

"Lethal Instinct is the story Frank Aaron, a police officer in Blackstone City who carries a curse in the form of severe Lycanthropy -- Frank is a werewolf. Sharing the secret of his plight with Dr. Carl Sanchez and his homicide partner Daniel Whitman, Frank hopes to control or end his curse in order to join 'The Special Division' which deals in superhuman and paranormal cases to help those like himself."

Tenth Muse #1 will arrive in stores in April from Alias Enterprises. The issue is by Darren G. Davis and Alex Amezcua.

FIRST LOOK: STAR WARS: EMPIRE #28

Star Wars: Empire #28 will arrive in stores on Dec. 29 from Dark Horse Comics. The issue is written by Ron Marz, with art by Adriana Melo and a cover by Tommy Lee Edwards.

Here's how Dark Horse describes the issue:

"Boba Fett is on a mission. But this time his objective is not a person, but a thing: a holo-projector containing an irreplaceable recording. Here's how Dark Horse describes the issue:

"Information obtained from the captured renegade Jedi Quinlan Vos could be vitally important to a Republic victory in the Clone Wars-or it could be a setup for a massive ambush.
