MYTH ADVENTURES OF THE MUSES MOVIE

Darren G. Davis told The Continuum his Myth Adventures of the Muses is being turned into an animated movie.

The film is being produced by Tom Daniels, Scott Heatherley, Ethan Reitz, with Jeremy Huff writing. Davis said a distribution deal is being sought, and there have been feelers in developing the propety as a TV movie to lead into a series.

Here's how Davis describes the film:

"Take nine totally different personalities and toss them into one household. On Mt Olympus, the daughters of Zeus are sent off to live with their guardian -- Cosmo the Minotaur. Here they are to learn about their powers and how they can make a difference.

"There is one person who is against the girls...Hera, queen of the Gods, who the girls call their step-monster...and they are not far wrong! The evil Hera along with her minions Medusa, the Sirens and other magical creatures try to rid the world of these girls."

Davis said plans are for a 90-minute and part of the movie will be shown in July at Comic-Con International in San Diego.

"We are doing a line of comics and books along with the movie," he said.

Davis also noted that Ali Russell is writing a Victoria's Secret Service film. Russell also has written a Legend of Isis film and is expected to begin on VSS soon.
