CINDY MARGOLIS PROMOTES 10TH MUSE
Cindy Margolis, the new model for The 10th Muse, appeared at the recent Los Angeles Comic Book Convention and spoke to fans about her new.
"I have high expectations of this property," she said. "I see the Muse becoming either a hit tv series or feature film. The sky is the limit for The Tenth Muse brand. Only if we could get Brad Pitt to play Grayson.
"The Muse embodies everything that a man wants in a woman and evrything that a woman wants to be. She's sexy, tough, self sufficient and..can kick some major butt!
"I definitely want to be considered a role model. I think being a successful businesswoman and self promoter is a good image to convey to young women. Always be self assured and believe in yourself."
Muse creator Darren Davis told The Continuum that plans for the character include a crossover with Victoria's Secret Service and a 2006 calenard featuring Margolis.
"We are also taking her back into the world of Greek mythology," he said. "New villains include: Styx and Stone, Tragedy, Lady Sniper, Apollo and Ares. Fan favorite Medusa will be back as well. We have covers coming by Andy Park, Randy Green, Logan Lubera and Billy Dallas Patton."
BATMAN #638 GOES BACK TO PRESS
Batman #638, the conclusion to the "Under the Hood" storyline, sold out at DC Comics on March 30, the day it arrived in stores.
DC is rushing this issue back to press. Written by Judd Winick with art by Doug Mahnke and Tom Nguyen, Batman #638 Second Printing features a startling new cover painted by Matt Wagner that reverses the point of view of the original cover art, showing it from the perspective of Batman.
"We're all thrilled that folks seem to be more than a little bit interested in this turn of events in the Batcave," says Winick. "I would be lying if I didn't admit that this just is the first dip on this roller coaster. We're just getting started!"
Batman #638 Second Printing is scheduled to arrive in stores on April 27 with a cover price of $2.25.
