BECKETT PUBLISHES THROUGH IMAGE

Image Comics announced it has teamed up with Beckett Entertainment to publish its catalog of books and original graphic novels.

"This is a great partnership for us," says Beckett Entertainment's president Jeff Amano.

"To make a long story short, Beckett, Inc. was a three-division company and two of the divisions were recently sold to Apprise Media. Jim Beckett and I kept Beckett Entertainment which was a separate corporation anyway. The problem was, all three divisions shared a central support staff for sales, marketing, printing, everything!

"So, our choices were to rebuild a whole new support staff or focus on our content. For us, Image Cenral makes a lot of sense, partnering with their experience, expertise, and established brand."

The publishing schedule for Beckett Entertainment's books through therest of the year looks like this:

* September: Ronin Hood of The 47 Samurai OGN.

* October: Ganglords of Chinatwon TPB.

* November: Fade from Grace TPB

* December: Kiss & Tell TPB,

*"Jeff Amano has enlisted some fantastic creators to produce some awesome comics and we're happy to be getting these books out through Image!" said Image's Eric Stephenson.
