DAY OF VENGEANCE THIRD PRINTING

DC Comics has announced that Day of Vengeance #1 Second Printing has sold out on its in-store date of May 25.

DC is rushing this issue back to press for a new printing featuring a special of the original cover by Walter Simonson in black and white with green highlights.

Day of Vengeance #1 Third Printing reprints the story by Bill Willingham with art by Justiniano & Walden Wong. The new printing is scheduled to arrive in stores on June 22.

"I'd like to personally thank each reader who made going back to a third printing with Day of Vengeance a necessity," Willingham said. "But since I can't do that, I hope you'll forgive my thanking you collectively here. Day of Vengeance is a work of love -- good premise, wonderful artists, terrific cast of characters, and lots of room for fun and adventure. And there are many surprises to come, so I hope you'll stay with us for the entire 6-issue ride. Who knew one little ghost could get so cranky?"

In other DC news, Adam Strange #8, the final issue of the mini-series written by Andy Diggle and illustrated by Pascal Ferry, sold out at DC on May 11, the same day it arrived in comics shops.

³Adam Strange was my first DCU book and a lot of fun to write, and itıs been great to see how the fans have taken the series to their hearts," Diggle said. "Iım sure it's thanks in no small measure to the artwork of Pascal Ferry, whose incredible dynamism and flair for eye-pleasing sci-fi design makes every panel blast off the page."
