FIRST LOOK: G.I. JOE: AMERICA'S ELITE #0

G.I. Joe: America's Elite #0 will arrive in stores on Wednesday from Devil's Due Publishing. The issue is by Joe Casey, Stefano Caseilli and Sunder Raj.

Here's how Devil's Due describes the issue:

"'The Newest War.' This is it -- the subject of excitement, discussion, and controversy: Joe Casey takes on the Joes! Who will make the cut? Who will lead them? FIRST LOOK: BILLY THE KID'S OLD-TIME ODDITIES #3

Billy the Kid's Old-Time Oddities #3 will arrive in stores in June 22 from Dark Comics. Ths issue is written by Eric Powell, with art by Kyle Hotz and cover by Powell.

Here's how Dark Horse describes the issue:

"After being attacked by Dr. Frankenstein's monsters, Billy and his companions are taken prisoner and locked in the doctor's dungeon. Over dinner, Dr. Frankenstein explains how eagerly he is awaiting the dissection of and experimentation on such a unique set of subjects. But after exchanging a volley of insults with Billy, Dr. Frankenstein judges him to be of little worth, bemoaning the necessary "petty violences" of Billy's existence. Jeffrey, 'the miniature boy,' on the other hand, is a perfect surgical specimen for one of the good doctor's 'experiments.'"

FIRST LOOK: ROCKETO #1

Rocketo #1 will arrive in stores in August from Speakeasy Comics. The issue is by Frank Espinosa.

Here's how Speakeasy describes the issue:

"Journey to the Hidden Sea is a multi-issue graphic series by artist Frank Espinosa that follows the life and adventures of Rocketo Garrison, world-famous explorer and mapmaker. Set 2,000 years into a mythical future, the world as we know it has been destroyed in a catastrophe and its magnetic field distorted. FIRST LOOK: OF BITTER SOULS #1

Of Bitter Souls #1 will arrive in stores in August from Speakeasy Comics. The issue is by Charles Saterlee and Norm Breyfogle.

Here's how Speakeasy describes the issue:

"A mysterious New Orleans Pastor named Secord chooses four individuals and adorns them with powers that, to their delight or disgust, are directly related to their worst character flaws. It begs the question, what should we do with the gifts we are given? Under the guidance of Pastor Secord, the four flawed heroes will be set loose on the vampires, ghosts, zombies and other supernatural baddies that are so prevalent in New Orleans' legends.
