BILL WILLINGHAM EXTENDS EXCLUSIVE AT DC COMICS

Bill Willingham, writer of Fables, Robin and Day of Vengeance, has renewed his exclusive contract with DC Comics for another two years.

"I am very pleased to have renewed my exclusive agreement with DC Comics," Willingham said. "As a second-timer I now get access to the super-secret DC deluxe executive washroom, spa and hot-tub fiesta room. Yes, I still have to occasionally sweep up around the DC offices, but I hear that goes away with the third exclusive renewal.

"But seriously, I'll be continuing Fables while also starting a number of exciting new projects -- including an expansion of the Fables universe. Then therešs all the terrific new things going on in the DCU. It's going to continue to be a joy to work with DC during one of the most exciting and innovative periods in its publishing history."

"We're beyond excited that Bill has decided to renew his exclusive agreement," said Shelly Bond, Vertigo Group Editor. "The next year of Fables will prove to be the most incredible one to date. In addition to some shocking twists and turns in the monthly series, illustrated by Mark Buckingham and Steve Leialoha, we'll be releasing other Fables-related projects with contributions by some of the most amazing artists in the industry."

EIGOMANGA, DEVIL'S DUE TEAM UP

EigoMANGA Ltd. and Devil's Due Publishing have announced a new publishing partnership, beginning this December.

EigoMANGA's flagship publication series, Rumble Pak and Sakura Pakk, will be released to comic book stores and retail chain bookstores under the DDP banner.

Both publications, previously released through eigoMANGA's own label will reset with a new lineup of original stories.
