"Jessica Suddreth was a normal high school freshman until she was magically transported to Asamondo, the fairytale world. Once there she trains to be a Spell Sword, a mystical warrior, to lead the peasants of Asamondo against the tyrannical King Elian. The good news is she's the best Spell Sword ever. The bad news is that she still has the emotions and insecurities of a fourteen-year-old girl. Will she be a savior or a destroyer."
Season of the Witch #0 will be 24 black-and-white pages and will cost $2.50.
FIRST LOOK: COMMON FOE #2Common Foe #2 will arrive in stores on Wednesday from Image Comics. The issue is written by Keith Giffen and Shannon Denton, with art by Jean-Jacques Dzialowski, cover by Esad Ribic.
Here's how Image describes the issue:
"Night falls. American and German GI's come face to face with the ravenous reality behind the vampire myth and must unite against a common foe or die."
Common Foe #2 will be 32 pages and will cost $3.50.
FIRST LOOK: STUPID COMICS #3Stupid Comics #3 will arrive in stores on Wednesday from Image Comics. The issue is by Jim Mahfood and Kelly Seda.
