BLUE WATER PRODUCTIONS' NEW TITLES

Blue Water Productions has announced nine new projects through this year and into next.

Following is a rundown:

* Victoria's Secret Service: Launches with a 75-cent preview issue in September, followed by #1 in December. The story enters on a young American girl who finds out she's been selected to join an elite, clandestine organization -- which was formed by Queen Victoria during her reign over the English Empire, and exists today as an international organization.

The book is written by Terrance Griep and Darren G. Davis, with art by Nadir Balan.

VSS action figures will also be in stores in November from Southern Island Toys.

* Insane Jane: A mini-series written by Zak Hunschar, with art by Weshoyot Alvitre. The book follows the trials and tribulations of a hapless hairdresser who so badly wants to be a hero that she invents a superhero identity...and tries to fight super villains with less than super powers.

* Power of the Valkyrie: A mini-series written by Darren Davis and Nick Schely, with art by Craig Yeung. The tale of a nurse bequeathed the power of the Norse goddess Valkyrie.

* The Muse: A new spin-off of Blue Water's Tenth Muse series, featuring Morgan Sonnet who suddenly finds herself 17-years-old and back in high school. This time, at least, she hopes it will be better the second time around.

* The Odyssey: The superhero group title returns as an oversized quarterly adventure series. It will follow the adventures of Isis, tenth Muse, Judo Girl, Atlas and Orion.

* Witch Kids: By Joe Phillips, the book follows five young adults descended from a variety of mystical lineages. As a group they will deal with mystical events and occult threats, all while trying to grow into a world that still sees them as children. Among the magical cultures, only the Witch Kids seem willing to both acknowledge and confront these threats to reality.

* The Blackbeard Legacy: Actress and model Traci Bingham will grace the covers of Blue Water's upcoming pirate tale. The four-issue mini-series takes place in the year 1715, when corsairs, privateers and pirates still ruled the seas and the veritable king of the pirates was the notorious Blackbeard ... until the world found out he had a daughter.

*Orion: Orion is back with his own mini-series in January. Penciled by Brazilian artist Alex Sunder and written by Scott Davis, Orion delves into the dark underbelly of Greek mythos--the rumblings of a massive war between the Olympians and the lesser gods sits on the shoulders of a long ignored demi-god whom both sides see as the key.

* Judo Girl: Following this year's mini-series, Judo Girl gets an ongoing title in 2006.
