Saturday, August 6, 2005WIZARD WORLD CHICAGO: MARVEL'S CUP 'O JOE PANEL Marvel Comics announced at its Cup O' Joe Panel on Friday that writer Jeph Loeb is returning as an exclusive to the publisher and that he will be teaming with the returning Joe Madureira on a project.

WIZARD WORLD CHICAGO: MARVEL KNIGHTS PANELKevin Smith crashed the Marvel Knights panel at Wizard World Chicago on Friday, notifying fans that he has completed writing on Spider-Man/Black Cat: The Evil That Men Do.
"It's done, Terry (Dodson) is drawing it and I've turned in #6," Smith said of the project initiated nearly three years ago.

WIZARD WORLD CHICAGO: BRIAN MICHAEL BENDIS PANELAt his panel at Wizard World Chicago, Brian Michael Bendis announced he will be reteaming with his Daredevil collaborator Alex Maleev on an ongoing Spider-Woman book next year.
The book will follow a mini-series, Spider-Woman: Origin, that Bendis is writing with Brian Reed, whom he worked with on Activision's Ultimate Spider-Man videogame. The art will be by the Luna Bros.

WIZARD WORLD CHICAGO: DC COMICS PANELDan DiDio said that JLA #119, the final issue of the five-part "Crisis of Conscience" arc written by Geoff Johns and Allan Heinberg, will have serious ramifications in the DC Universe.
Speaking at DC Comics' panel at Wizard World on Friday, DiDio compared the issue to Wonder Woman #219, which closed the "Sacrifice" story.
"It will have the same level of impact," DiDio said.
