DC COMICS FIRST LOOKS

FIRST LOOK: ALBION #3

Albion #3 will arrive in stores on Oct. 5 from DC Comics. The issue is plotted by Alan Moore and written by Leah Moore and John Reppion, with art by Shane Oakley and George Freeman and a cover by Dave Gibbons.

Here's how DC describes the book:

"The six-issue mini-series reimagining classic British heroes continues. If Penny and Danny were familiar with the prison where Grimly Fiendish, the Hurricane and the Steel Claw were kept, they might have been little more prepared for what they discover in Charles Love's nostalgia shop..."

FIRST LOOK: BATMAN: GOTHAM COUNTY LINE #1

Batman: Gotham County Line #1 will arrive in stores on Oct. 5 from DC Comics. The issue is written by Steve Niles, with art and cover by Scott Hampton.

Here's how DC describes the issue:

"A three-issue Prestige Format miniseries that uncovers the investigation of grisly murders outside Batman's usual territory...in the Gotham suburbs! Commissioner Gordon calls on the Dark Knight for help in solving the mystery, although Batman has never delved into the suburbs of Gotham before.
