HELLBOY ANIMATED MOVIES

Sean Galloway, the current Teen Titans Go! cover artist, has announced he is working on two straight-to-DVD animated Hellboy movies.

Here's what Galloway posted on the deviantart.com web site:

"Recently, I got selected as lead character designer for the Hellboy Animated cartoon. What you see here is the new look for the cartoon. Sorry to say, but it won't be based on Mignola's style. He wanted something other than his style. It's going to be 2 direct to DVD movies (70 minutes each). They'll be aired on Cartoon Network. The first one is scheduled for next October. I just wrapped up the designs for the first DVD."

Cartoon Network has yet to confirm it will be airing the movies.

WIZARD WORLD TEXAS: ULTIMATE AVENGERS PANEL

Bob Richardson, producer/director of the Ultimate Avengers animated movie, said that the film features four major battles.

"Which is a lot to put in a 70-minute movie," he said on Saturday during the Ultimate Avengers panel at Wizard World Texas.

A clip of one of those battles was shown, as Captain America, Giant-Man, Thor, Iron Man, Black Widow, Nick Fury and Betty Ross try to control a rampaging Hulk.
