MARVEL COMICS FIRST LOOKS
FIRST LOOK: MARVEL HOLIDAY SPECIAL 2005
Marvel Holiday Special 2005 will arrive in stores on Nov. 30 from Marvel Comics. The issue is written by Jeff Parker, Mike Carey and Shaenon Garrity, with art by Reilly Brown, Mike Perkins and Roger Langrige and a cover by Stuart Immonen.
Here's how Marvel describes the issue:
"It's that time of year again (or at least it will be when these books come out), and we've thrown out the rulebook to deliver the wildest set of holiday stories you'll find anywhere! It's a party with the New Avengers as they battle Ultron‹programmed to think he's Santa? That's courtesy Jeff Parker (Interman, Marvel Adventures Fantastic Four) and hot newcomer Reilly Brown! Then Mike Carey (Ultimate Fantastic Four, Hellblazer) joins Mike Perkins (Spellbinders, Kiss Kiss Bang Bang) to take the Fantastic Four on a wild ride! Finally, webcomics superstar Shaenon Garrity (Narbonic) joins indy comics' Roger Langridge (Fred the Clown, Marvel Monsters: Fin Fang Four) for just the sort of insanity they're known for?"
Marvel Holiday Special 2005 will be 48 pages and will cost $3.99.

FIRST LOOK: GLX-MAS SPECIAL
GLX-Mas Special will arrive in stores on Dec. 7 from Marvel Comics. The issue is written by Dan Slott, with art by Matt Haley, Georges Jeanty, Mike Wieringo, Mike Kazaleh, Ty Templeton and Paul Grist and a cover by Paul Pelletier.
Here's how Marvel describes the issue:
"Marvel¹s own Milwaukee-based Misfits are back‹in their very own, double sized X-mas special! Sure, they survived the GLA mini-series, but can Squirrel Girl, Mr. Immortal, and pals survive... the holidays?
