FIRST LOOK: JLA CLASSIFIED: COLD STEEL #1

JLA Classified: Cold Steel #1 will arrive in stores in Wednesday from DC Comics. The issue is by Christopher Moeller.

Here's how DC describes the issue:

"The JLA members find themselves caught between two warring factions in a deep space conflict that threatens to split the Earth's mightiest super-team down the middle! Time is of the essence, causing the group to quickly choose sides == which may be the heroesą first mistake. As the battle escalates, the team realizes that it must amp-up its collective powers and abilities -- leading to the first use of the JLA's towering battle-ready armor."

JLA Classified: Cold Steel #1 will be 48 pages and will cost $5.99.

FIRST LOOK: FAIRIES TELL #1

Fairies Tell #1 will arrive in stores in January from Carabosse Comics. The issue is by Lynx Delirium.

Here's how Carabosse describes the book:

"A new ongoing series follows classic children's stories, nursery rhymes and fairytales, but with a twist. The stories are told from the point of view of the actual fairies who witnessed the events. The fairies say the stories that you have come to know are all lies. The first full-color issue, now available, opens with the short story of 'Old Mother Hubbard[ and moves right into its spotlight story of 'Little Miss Muffet.'"

FIRST LOOK: STAR WARS: KNIGHTS OF THE OLD REPUBLIC #1

Star Wars: Knights of the Old Republic #1 will arrive in stores on Jan. 25 from Dark Horse Comics. The issue is written by John Jackson Miller, with art by Brian Ching and a cover by Travis Charest.

Here's how Dark Horse describes the book:

"On the planet Taris, a young Padawan named Zayne has been framed for a heinous and brutal crime against the Jedi order.
