HEROIC PUBLISHING SCHEDULE

Heroic Publishing has announced its publishing schedule for the first half of 2006, keeping its line to two titles per month.

In order to accommodate Roy Thomas' new bimonthly Anthem comic book, plus the June release of the first issue of Liberty Girl, the previously monthly Flare title will revert to eight times a year, and several issues of the nominally quarterly Flare Adventures, Tales of the Champions, and WitchGirls Inc will be delayed.

Heroic Publishing's schedule for the first six months of 2006 includes:

* Jan. 25: Flare #32, Anthem #1.

* Feb. 22: Flare Adventures #16, WitchGirls Inc #3

* March 29: Flare #33, Anthem #2.

* April 26: Flare #34, Tales of the Champions #4.

* May 31: Anthem #3, WitchGirls Inc #4.

* June 28: Flare #35, Liberty Girl #1.

In addition, on this year's Free Comic Book Day, May 6, Heroic Publishing will release a special 32-page preview edition of Liberty Girl for distribution in comic book stores nationwide.

* Fred Schruers, senior editor of Premiere Magazine, told E! News Live that he feels Brandon Routh and Kate Bosworth will be successful in Superman Returns. "He's a guy who is a good match for our notion of what Superman looks like, and Kate Bosworth is quite charming," Schruers said. "I think it's got every shot feeling like it's been refreshed."
