BLACK PANTHER, STORM WEDDING

Marvel Comics on Thursday released a "wedding invitation" to the summer event for Black Panther and Storm.

The release promotes Black Panther #14, by Reginald Hudlin and Scott Eaton, due in stores on March 22; and Storm #1, by Eric Jerome Dickey and David Yardin, due in stores on Feb. 22.

There will also be a Marvel Milestones for the event, collecting stories from Marvel Team-Up #100 and Black Panther (Vol. 2) #26.

INSIDERS #1 VARIANT

Insiders #1 -- the premiere issue in 360 Jam's new comic-book universe -- with a 7-cent cover price -- will also have a retailer incentive program.

Retailers will receive one free copy for every 10 issues ordered. The free copy will have an alternative cover by Professor Akiyoshi Kitaoka, an expert in optical illusion artwork.

"We promised to make it worth everybody's while to get on board with this series," said Bill Jemas, former Marvel President and Publisher and current 360 Jam CEO. "The 7 cent offer is great for fans, but doesn't do much for retailers in the short run; the alternative cover program is intended to make up for that."

"Professor Akiyoshi Kitaoka is a profoundly talented person, who is acknowledged to be at the top of his field," said Natalia Muriel, 360 Jam's Art Director. "We are honored to be able to present one of his works to the US comic book market."

The Insiders' creative team includes plot writer Jemas; layout artist Arthur Dela Cruz; dialog writer Rob Worley; letterer Simon Bowland; and colorist Miguel Montenegro.
