Sony Pictures has provided The Continuum with a new image from Spider-Man 3.

According to the studio's caption for the image:

"You may think you're looking at a black and white photo. Look closely, Spider-Man wears a black suit in Spider-Man 3. Tobey Maguire returns in the role of Peter Parker/Spider-Man in Spider-Man 3 coming May 2007."

* According to Variety, Jonah Nolan, brother of Batman Begins director Christopher Nolan, has been hired by Warner Bros. to write the next Bat-film. Christopher Nolan is expected to return, as is Christian Bale as Bruce Wayne/Batman. Variety also reported that Warner is eyeing Bryan Singer to direct another Superman film after Superman Returns.

* In Marvel's quarterly report, it's noted that the film rights to Hulk and Iron Man have reverted back to Marvel. Scripts are "actively" being worked on for Captain America, Ant-Man and Nick Fury. The company also reported that an Iron Man animated series is in development.

* Dynamic Entertainment has announced sell-outs for Red Sonja #5 and #6, Red Sonja: Sonja Goes East and Red Sonja vs. Thulsa Doom #1.
