Monday, February 27, 2006FIRST LOOKSFIRST LOOK: CONAN: BOOK OF THOTH #1Conan: Book of Thoth #1 will arrive in stores on March 15 from Dark Horse Comics. The issue is written by Kurt Busiek and Len Wein, with art by Kelley Jones.
Here's how Dark Horse describes the book:
"the horrifying origin of Thoth-amon -- Conan's greatest adversary. In the dank alleys of a decaying city, one beggar boy conjures visions of a future where, instead of spitting on him in the streets, the rich and privileged cower in fear of his terrible power. Conan: Book of Thoth #1 will be 32 pages and will cost $2.95.
FIRST LOOK: FLARE #33Flare #33 will arrive in stores on March 22 from Heroic Publishing. The issue is by Wilson Hill and J. Adam Walters, with a cover by Gordon Purcell and Scott Shaw
Here's how Heroic Publihsing describes the issue:
"We can promise you weren't expecting this one. A Scott Shaw designed cover graces the 33rd issue of Flare, featuring the return of Skyyyy Marshaaaaal, as well as a guest appearance by a galloping old friend you may never have expected to see again.
