INFINITE CRISIS #5 SECOND PRINTINGAs Infinite Crisis nears its conclusion, DC Comics has announced that the sold-out fifth issue is going back to press for a second printing.
Infinite Crisis #5 Second Printing reprints the story by Geoff Johns, with art by Phil Jimenez, Jerry Ordway, Ivan Reis, Andy Lanning and Art Thibert. The new printing features a pencils-only version of the issue's cover by George Pérez.
"It's great to be involved in a project like Infinite Crisis on a professional level, but the fan in me is just as thrilled to see the story unfold issue by issue as well," Ordway said. "On the original Crisis on Infinite Earths, I was saddened by the loss of the Earth-2 Superman to DC's active continuity, as he is such a vital link back to Joe Shuster's original visual concept. Being able to draw this Superman again in such an emotional sequence -- scripted by Geoff -- has been tremendous fun. News of the brisk sell-through is like the icing on the cake!"
The second printing will be in stores on March 22.
