X-Men: The Last Stand went over $180 million domestically on Tuesday and should cross the $200-million mark this weekend.

The film pulled in $3.0 million on Tuesday to push its total to $181.3 million.

In other X-Men news:

* Even though the film's been out nearly two weeks, Famke Janssen is still on the promotional trail. The actress who plays Jean Grey appeared on NBC's Late Night with Conan O'Brien on Tuesday night.

"I was happy to be back, it was fun," Janssen of her resurrected character.

Because of her character's telepathic nature, Janssen said she had to do no training for the film. She also related a story of running into Ian McKellen (Magneto) on a nude beach in Vancouver, where the film was shot.

Production on Season 6 of The CW's Smallville will begin in mid-July in Vancouver, executive producer Al Gough told The Continuum.

Steven DeKnight is writing the first episode, which picks up from last month's Season 5 cliffhanger.

In other Smallville news, it doesn't appear a panel will be devoted to the series at Comic-Con International in San Diego next month.

Given the production start, it is possible, however, that cast members might be at the convention. A schedule of events won't be announced for about a month. - More Product. More Exclusives.
