* Image Comics announced on Wednesday that its She-Dragon special -- due in stores on July 26 -- has been expanded from 48 pages to 64 with no change in the $5.99 price.

"Originally I'd planned to cap it out at 40 or even 42 story pages," creator Erik Larsen said. "However, Franchesco! and I couldn't stop, so we ran out of ample space to show off all the cool behind-the-scenes stuff. With the addition of 16 sketchbook pages we're now able to give readers a peek at the hard work we did."

The special also will now lead directly in Savage Dragon #128, which features characters from Wanted.

* Claypool Comics¹ Soulsearchers and Company #78, scheduled to ship to comics shops on July 12, will instead be delayed until August 9. According to Claypool, glitches in the production of the book caused the delay and is not the fault of the book's creative team or its distributors. The delay will not affect the schedule of the following issue, which will ship in late August.

"We're modernizing some of our production procedures," said Claypool editor Richard Howell, "and some problems delayed this issue, shifting it into being fully late. It's unfortunate, but we want to emphasize that the series is not cancelled. For anyone who is disappointed that it's not being released strictly two months after the previous issue, we apologize, but there's no plot to keep Soulsearchers off the stands. The series is continuing."
