COMING TUESDAY

Marvel news -- and much more!!!

SPIDER-MAN 3 UPDATE

Mageina Tovah is reprising her role from Spider-Man 2 and has completed her filming for Spider-Man 3, The Continuum has learned.

Tovah, 26, played Mr. Ditkovich's shy daughter, Ursala, in Spider-Man 2.

In other Spider-Man 3 news, director Sam Raimi is listed as a guest for Sony Pictures' panel at Comic-Con International in San Diego on Saturday, July 22.

Raimi oversaw the panel for Spider-Man in 2001 but was ill and missed the Spider-Man 2 panel in 2003. Producers Avi Arad and Laura Ziskin and star Alfred Molina appeared, however. Both times, extensive clips were shown.

The Marvel Studios' panel is before Sony's on Saturday, so it would not be surprising to see Marvel representation at the Sony panel, which will also include Ghost Rider's Nicolas Cage and Eva Mendes.

INCREDIBLE HULK DVD

Universal Studios Home Entertainment will release The Incredible Hulk: The Complete First Season on Tuesday.

Here's how the DVD collection is described:

"'Don't make me angry. You wouldn't like me when I'm angry.' Mild-mannered research scientist David Banner (Emmy nominee Bill Bixby) finds he must offer this heroic warning after exposure to gamma radiation transforms him into the terrifying and enraged Hulk (Lou Ferrigno). Bursting from comic book pages into this 4-disc DVD set, the Complete First Season of The Incredible Hulk boasts all 10 heart-pounding episodes, the two original feature-length films, a preview episode from Season Two, and in-depth commentary from producer Kenneth Johnson."

Johnson will be featured a panel at Comic-Con International on Thursday, July 20 at 6 p.m. (PT).

AFTER HOURS' MODEL OPERANDI

After Hours Press will release Model Operandi, a new graphic novel that "mixes girls, guns and motorcycles," in September.

Created by Dennis Budd and Joe Caramagna, the 88-page full-color graphic novel will cost $5.99.

Here's how After Hours Press describes the book:

"Model Operandi is about Legsy Diamond ... model by day ... carefree adventurer by night. She's part of a team of hot, fun-lovin' babes who stumble into trouble all over the worldŠand maybe fight some crime along the way. Jump in to their first exciting adventure as the stunning gals must recover a priceless gemŠthe legendary Heart of Josephine diamond, which was stolen by (you guessed it) evil, sexy babes! It's packed with action, mystery, intrigue and humor."

"People who like the action and humor of the Alias TV show will get a big kick out of this high-octane story about Legsy Diamond," said Buddy Scalera, president, After Hours Press. "And if people were impressed by Dennis and Joe's work on 7 Days to Fame, then they are going to be floored by the fluid art style featured in Model Operandi."

Both Budd and Caramagna are graduates of The Joe Kubert School in New Jersey. Aside from their work on 7 Days to Fame, Budd has illustrated Lord of the Rings trading cards for Topps Cards, and Caramagna has lettered for Marvel Comics via the Virtual Calligraphy studio.

"We are so confident that Model Operandi will be a hit, that we actually printed the graphic novels in advance and have begun selling them at conventions," Scalera said. "There's already a buzz and the book isn't even out yet."
