BLADE: THE SERIES UPDATE

Spike TV has released 16 images from "Bloodlines," this Wednesday's episode of Blade: The Series.

Here's how the episode is described:

"Blade pays a visit to suspicious gynecologist Dr. Vonner, who shoots himself upon Blade's arrival. Reverend Carlyle sets Blade up to get captured by the Bad Bloods, disenfranchised vampires Blade first turned and who were once his childhood friends. Chase takes Krista to the House of Leichen for a blood ritual that will help them track Boone. The Bad Bloods kill Carlyle and offer up Blade to Marcus in exchange for a seat in the House of Chthon."

The episode was written by Geoff Johns and directed by Felix Alcala.

STAN LEE'S LIGHTSPEED

Sci Fi has released an image from Stan Lee's Lightspeed, a made-for-television movie scheduled for Wednesday, July 26 at 9 p.m.

Here's how Sci Fi describes the movie:

"From the creator of X-Men and Spider-Man, comes the story of Daniel Leight, a government agent who discovers he has super powers as a result of a lab accident caused by an international terrorist, who happens to be Leight's former college roommate. The terrorist, a classic comic-book villain, has the skin, eyes and proportionate strength and reflexes of a snake. Leight's super speed and agility are now the only things that can stop his once old friend and save the world from destruction."

Jason Connery stars as Daniel Leight. The film also features Nicole Eggert, Daniel Goodard and Lee Majors.
